ClinWorks Cancer Research Center meets the oncology clinical trial needs by providing the following services:

Conducting early-phase oncology clinical trials (phase I and selected phase II) with safety and efficiency;

    • We provide compassionate care to patients while they receive treatment on clinical trial. Patients on clinical trials receive our undivided attention.
    • We coordinate with our referring physicians and sponsors in order to bring new drugs to our community through appropriate cancer trials in order to offer alternatives to cancer patients
    • We communicate with our referring physicians to keep them up-to-date on the status of their patients while they receive treatment on clinical trial.
    • We communicate with our sponsors in a timely manner and provide real time data because of our singular focus on oncology clinical trial.

Serving as a resource for oncologists and patients looking for appropriate clinical trials at ClinWorks Cancer Research Center or at other institutions;

    • Finding an appropriate clinical trial for a patient may be time-consuming. ClinWorks Cancer Research Center keeps an updated list of clinical trials available at the center (current clincal trials).
    • ClinWorks Cancer Research Center personnel will perform courtesy searches for appropriate clinical trials for particular indications when requested by our referring physicians
    • ClinWorks Cancer Research Center personnel are available to give talks to patient support groups on various cancer topics.

Consulting for sponsors regarding protocol design;

    • ClinWorks Cancer Research Center personnel have experience in protocol design and project development and are available for consultation

Writing and reviewing protocols that meet the sponsor’s needs;

    • ClinWorks Cancer Research Center personnel have expertise in writing protocols and offer such service to sponsors. We will also perform extensive review of protocols and provide feedback to bring protocols in line with current practice
    • We write and review informed consents that meet IRB’s standards
