ClinWorks Cancer Research Center personnel are available to give talks to patient support groups on various cancer topics.

  • http://www.cancer.org : Comprehensive information on different types of cancer for patients and cancer providers, cancer survivorship, and support groups.
  • http://www.cancer.gov : This is the National Cancer Institute (NCI) website. It offers comprehensive information on cancer for both patients and Health care professionals who care for cancer patients. Clinicaltrials.gov can be accessed from this site as well. The information is also available in Spanish.
  • http://www.centerwatch.com  : Information for patients and industry professionals alike. This site also offers literarure for patients and professionals on various topics such as the informed consent process.
  • http://patient.cancerconsultants.com/index.aspx : Excellent cancer resource center. The “Support and Services” section discusses various topics of interest not only for cancer patients, but also for caregivers and family members. The Daily News section is also very good for keeping you informed on the latest developments in cancer.
  • http://www.canceradvocacy.org : The National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship is the oldest survivor-led cancer advocacy organization in the country.
  • http://www.cancer411.org : Cancer411.org is dedicated to helping cancer patients and their families find the information that they need.
  • http://www.acor.org/index.html : Collection of online communities designed to provide timely and accurate information in a supportive environment. ACOR offers access to mailing lists that provide support, information, and community to everyone affected by cancer and related disorders.
