Dr. Thertulien gave a lecture on drug development for patients and family
members at the Buddy Kemp Caring House on February 7, 2008. The title of his
presentation was "Understanding cancer drug therapy: How drugs come to be
and how they affect your treatment!"
Dr. Thertulien was the invited Grand Round speaker at the Arkansas Valley
Regional Medical Center in La Junta, Colorado, on Friday, February 15, 2008.
His lecture was entitled: "Autologous Transplant in the Context of Novel
Treatment Regimens for Multiple Myeloma"
Dr. Thertulien, ClinWorks Cancer Research Center Medical Director and a Myeloma expert,
gave a lecture on Multiple Myeloma, a blood cancer for patients and caregivers on behalf
of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society on Thursday November 15, 2007 at the Morrison Regional
Library in the Meeting Room/Auditorium (7015 Morrison Blvd. Charlotte). Dr. Thertulien is
available to answer questions regarding Multiple Myeloma.
